InterDISCIPLINARY Journal of Portuguese Diaspora Studies
Through this journal, we support and encourage theorizing research into diasporic narratives from differing perspectives that embrace the Humanities and the Social Sciences. The InterDISCIPLINARY Journal of Portuguese Diaspora Studies (IJPDS) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, scholarly journal with both print and online versions. The journal is published annually in the fall. Also part of this academic journal is the publication of special thematic issues that engage with aspects of Portuguese diaspora studies, both traditional and modern. The hallmark of research today is interdisciplinary, bringing insights from a variety of disciplines. Drawing upon this inquiry, IJPDS fosters research on the Portuguese diaspora, past and present, from multidisciplinary, comparative, and global perspectives within thematic areas that embrace the Humanities and the Social Sciences.
IJPDS represents original scholarship receptive to the interdisciplinary topics and theoretical contexts spanning the diversity and variety of research interests. We welcome submissions of original works not under consideration elsewhere, and in any of the following languages, English, Portuguese, Spanish or French. A submission for publication in IJPDS is with the understanding, and under the author's warranty, that it has not been previously published nor is being considered for publication elsewhere. IJPDS accepts submissions on an ongoing basis.
